Electric Vehicle Theory and Hands-on Technical Training Program

The Intelligent Vehicle Research and Development Center organized a two-day Electric Vehicle Theory and Hands-on Technical Training Program to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of electric vehicle (EV) technologies through both theoretical instruction and practical training.

The program featured faculty-led sessions introducing the development trends and core technologies of electric vehicles, followed by technical workshops and hands-on activities. Participants assembled a four-wheel-drive electric vehicle, learned about its electrical system architecture, and completed practical operational exercises. These activities were designed to strengthen students' theoretical knowledge while developing their practical engineering skills and enhancing their understanding of EV structures and performance through direct experience.

Following the hands-on training, an RC Electric Vehicle Competition was held to reinforce participants' learning outcomes. The competition consisted of 36 individual participants, with awards presented to the top three winners and three Merit Award recipients. The event encouraged students to apply critical thinking and an experimental mindset while improving their proficiency in remote-controlled electric vehicle parameter tuning, system calibration, and operation.
