Key topics included amphibious vehicles, drone technologies, autonomous navigation, nuclear disaster response, and electric rescue vehicles, highlighting interdisciplinary innovation and integration.
Through international exchange and industry–academia collaboration, the symposium contributes to advancing smart disaster-response technologies and strengthening public safety and infrastructure resilience.
In addition, the Disaster Science International Research Institute (Tough Cyberphysical AI Research Center) of Tohoku University and the Intelligent Vehicle Research and Development Center of Ming Chi University of Technology officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the same day
