AVL Heavy-Duty Powertrain Testing Laboratory

Laboratory Introduction

This laboratory is Taiwan’s first high-power, system-level electric powertrain testing platform specifically designed for heavy-duty vehicle applications. It integrates motors, inverters, transmissions, and axle differentials to perform cross-functional testing under conditions that closely simulate real vehicle operation.

The laboratory supports electrical and mechanical testing of e-axle systems to evaluate system performance, reliability, and thermal durability. A corresponding four-wheel-drive testing platform will also be established in the future R&D building.
